Patricia Ljutic writes because she can’t stop, a disorder called Hypergraphia, for which she refuses to seek treatment. Her poetry, fiction, flash fiction and essays have been appeared in many popular and literary publications including Cia Travel with Attitude, JONA: Journal or Nursing Administration, Down in the Dirt Magazine and upstreet Literary Magazine. Patricia’s poems have appeared in Pulse-Voices from the Heart of Medicine, Poetalk, Sage Woman, Circle Magazine, The Beltane Papers and Cradle Songs: An Anthology of Poems About Motherhood. Her awards include Top 25 List for Glimmer Train’s June 2011 Fiction Open, Finalist in the 2011 and 2015 William Faulkner Wisdom Competition and Second Place in the 11th Annual Writer’s Digest Short Short Story Contest. Patricia’s work has also been published in A Cup of Comfort for Parents of Children with Special Needs, The Contra Costa Times, My Mom Is My Hero, A Cup of Comfort for Couples and Chicken Soup of the Soul: Family Matters. She lives and writes in a San Francisco Bay Area.
